I would like to invite you to our next concert on Sunday the 23rd of May at Acahrya’s Yoga Centre in Pitt Street in Sydney. It will be an evening of Hindustani classical music in the traditional baithak style, it will feature Adrian McNeil on the Sarod accompanied by Bobby Singh on the Tabla.

Ragas are mostly improvised and each has its own mood and expression which the musicians try to capture and experience in their own way.
This sense of mood is heightend even more when the musicians are sitting so close to the listeners in an intimate room where there is no sense of separation and where you can get drawn in to the subtle, soulful sounds of the music.
At Acharya’s Yoga Centre it is possible to experience this music in the traditional way as the space provides the perfect back-drop for Indian Classical music.
